Privacy Notice for SnoreIQ

Your sleep data is yours

SnoreIQ does not collect, upload, or store your sleep recordings, snore history, sleep scores, or sleep analysis on SnoreIQ-controlled servers.

Sleep recordings and Audio AI analysis are processed and stored locally on your device. SnoreIQ does not send your sleep recordings to cloud AI services, external AI APIs, advertisers, or data brokers.

Your recordings are not used to train AI models.

Information stored on your device

When you start a recording session, SnoreIQ may store sleep audio, session timing, snore labels, scores, charts, notes, recommendations, and related report information locally on your device.

SnoreIQ runs its Audio AI model locally on your device to classify sleep-related audio patterns and reduce false snore detection from common room noise. Your sleep recordings are not sent to SnoreIQ servers for analysis.

Account and purchase information

If you create or use a SnoreIQ account, we may process account identifiers and profile information, such as your name, email address, sign-in method, and profile photo. We use this information to authenticate you, provide account-based features, restore eligible access, secure the service, and respond to account requests.

Subscription, purchase, refund, and entitlement information may be processed by Google Play, the Apple App Store, RevenueCat, or another payment provider. SnoreIQ may receive limited transaction or entitlement information needed to provide premium access, prevent fraud, and support purchases. We do not receive your full payment-card number from an app store.

Optional Google Drive backup

Optional backup uses your own Google Drive account, under your control. If you enable backup, your backup is stored in your Google Drive account and is handled according to your relationship with Google and your Google account settings.

You can choose whether to enable or disable backup. Where supported, SnoreIQ also makes it easier to locate, manage, and export raw recording files. SnoreIQ does not use optional backups to build advertising profiles or sell sleep data.

Support communications

If you contact SnoreIQ for support, we may receive the information you choose to send, such as your name, email address, message, device details you provide, screenshots you attach, or diagnostic context you decide to share.

Please do not send sleep recordings or sensitive personal information in support messages unless requested and necessary for your support question.

Data retention

We retain each category of data as follows:

• Sleep recordings and analysis stored on your device: retained until you delete an individual recording or session, clear the app's data, or uninstall SnoreIQ. SnoreIQ does not retain a server copy of this data.
• Google Drive backups: retained in your Google Drive account until you delete them using SnoreIQ's backup controls where supported or directly through Google Drive. SnoreIQ does not control Google's retention of files in your account, including items in Trash or backups maintained under Google's policies.
• Account and profile data: retained while your SnoreIQ account is active. After we verify an account-deletion request, we delete or anonymize this data within 30 days, except for limited records that must be retained for the reasons described below.
• Support communications: retained only as long as reasonably necessary to resolve your request and maintain appropriate support, security, and dispute records. You may request their deletion using the process below.
• Purchase, subscription, tax, refund, and entitlement records: retained as necessary to provide your purchase, comply with legal and accounting obligations, prevent fraud, and resolve disputes. App stores and payment providers retain their own records according to their policies.

We may retain limited data after a deletion request when required by law or reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, payment or tax recordkeeping, dispute resolution, or enforcement of our Terms. We keep such data only for the shortest period required for the applicable purpose and restrict it from other uses.

How to request deletion of your data

You may request deletion of your SnoreIQ account and associated account data at any time. Email hello@ini.ac with the subject line Delete my SnoreIQ account and include the email address or sign-in method associated with your account. We may ask you to verify account ownership before completing the request. We aim to complete verified requests within 30 days.

To request deletion of specific data without deleting your account, email hello@ini.ac with the subject line SnoreIQ data deletion request and identify the data you want deleted.

Local sleep recordings and session data are not held on SnoreIQ-controlled servers. Delete them in the app by deleting the relevant recordings or sessions, or remove all local app data through your device settings or by uninstalling SnoreIQ. If you enabled Google Drive backup, delete those files using SnoreIQ's backup controls where supported or directly from your Google Drive account.

Your choices and responsibilities

• You control when to start and stop a recording session.
• You can delete local app data using in-app controls or device settings, and you can request deletion of account data by following the process above.
• You can choose whether to use optional Google Drive backup.
• You are responsible for using audio recording features lawfully and respectfully.

SnoreIQ records audio only after you start a recording session. Because recordings may capture background noise, speech, other people's voices, partner sounds, or nearby audio, users are responsible for using SnoreIQ lawfully and respectfully, including notifying or obtaining consent from people nearby if required by local law.

Children

SnoreIQ is intended for use by adults. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through SnoreIQ-controlled servers.

Changes to this notice

We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above. Continued use of SnoreIQ after an update means the updated notice applies.
